As part of the current GH project Psychosocial support for those affected by the Covid-19 virus in Northwest Syria , we have been able to identify numerous developments over the past six months:
- By June 2021, our psychologists had reached a total of 1,171 clients via our counseling hotline , whom they regularly looked after psychologically.
- In addition, we have been able to implement 66 training and supervision hours for selected psychologists in Syria. These seminars serve to promote the technical know-how of the participants and to exchange ideas with each other in six dialogue forums.
- Recently, the GH was able to network with other institutions in the region and publish various advertising and information materials (publications, videos, graphic illustrations) to draw more attention to the project.
We want to further expand these activities in the coming months in order to further strengthen the psychological sector in the region!
